While tennis courts can differ in many ways, there are three different types of tennis court surfaces: grass, clay, hard, and grass. The most common of all these is hard courts. Grass courts are famously known for being played on at Wimbledon, a grand slam tennis event. Each type of court can provide advantages and disadvantages to players. 

Tennis in the News

Most professional tennis events have players on a hard court. While there are many other kinds of courts to play on, one court in particular was very unique and played on by two famous tennis players. Years later, people remember the time Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal once played in an exhibition match on a court that was half-grass and half-clay.
